Lets Look at the Community advisory group

http://swcs.wordpress.com/category/community-advisory-group/
Stephen Torsell : Homes on The Hill executive director: Instrumental in Obtaining mortgages for people that shouldn't have received them and then complains about the Housing foreclosures on the Hilltop. The same exact people who ran these places into the ground,” the private companies paid to build and manage the city’s affordable housing, “now are profiting by redeveloping them. Owns a House since 2006 in Meadow grove $291,000 purchase price. How many Mexican and poor families did he make money off of and now cries about foreclosures. All the while receiving tax payer funding. Columbus Version Of Acorn. He has done well for himself working for a non-profit 501c. Still investigating his ties. More to come about Mr.Torsell.
Mr.Torsells "Homes on the Hill" Is funded by "National Council of La Raza" that is funded by the "Tides" foundation formerly known as the "Weather underground" If you are not familiar with who they are try google. They are a terrorist organization that blew up the Pentagon in the 1970s with strong ties to "Wayne Rathke" Who is Wayne Rathke? Try Googleing Acorn and the Tides foundation. They are 1960s radical hippies plotting to turn the U.S. into Cuba under Obama. All the info is there for the googleing. The Democrats are in support of Issue 47? No more tax money for Acorn.
Update: Daryl Hennessy (president Homes on The Hill) Owns a landscaping business.http://www.hennessylandscaping.com/
Does he employ Illegals? Council them on how to become a homeowner? While receiving a paycheck from Homes on the hill (Taxpayer, Nclr, Tides Foundation funded). I didn't realize the West side of Columbus had so-many unrepresented Hispanics in 1993 when these people appeared or did they show up first? This man has Political aspirations.http://www.facebook.com/pages/Daryl-Hennessy/18488838162
I will be keeping an eye on Him. Any Journalists want to look into "Homes on the Hill" and its people. When you find poor uneducated people you will also find "Community Organizers" to exploit them.

Steve Isaac : Insurance Software consultant, Lobbyist? I really cant tell what he does. He owns 2 houses in the district (very expensive houses) I bet they really need a levy to pass hoping to regain value they lost on these investments. The payments must be killing them. He recommended (lobbied) the formation of the advisory group and appointed himself. Was the executive director at BWC under the Voinovich administration.

David Riddle : Engineer/Attorney Works as an attorney for construction companies and school districts that use construction companies. Wow no conflict of interest there. Just whats best for the community and his pocket.

Jennifer Faison-Hodge : She has a PHD and she plans to bring diversity to the district and better communication? I thought the administrator list had people making big bucks already assigned for diversity and communication.

David Lucas : Purchased his home 2005 $224,000
"My reason for participating in the Community Advisory Group is very simple. I believe that we have no greater obligation than to educate our children and allow them to reach their fullest potential. Prior to joining this group, I had never met any of the school board members or administration. I hope to learn about the issues from both the community and the district, and utilize my professional experience to offer some fresh ideas on how to meet the challenges that are currently facing our communities.” Project management, strategic planning, and financial management in the heavy industrial construction industry. Has lived in the district 4 years. I have a project for him to manage. Manage the district with the money that the district receives. The levy supporters keep chanting "We need to get the word out about the levy" as if the voters haven't heard their whining enough the last 3 times we voted it down. They really think that saying the same thing over and over will make it come true. We hear you and the answer is "NO"

What a list of contestants. First I would like to thank the school board for selecting such a fine group to try and help communicate the issues of the district and educate all us poor uneducated taxpayers because we are just too stupid to understand that we are supposed to vote yes because they said so! I want to know where are the seniors on the group? Oops forgot them. I also want to know where are the residents that make $50,000 or less and that don't live in a $200,000 dollar home. I guess the board didn't have any room for them uneducated poor people. How about a military veteran or two? couldn't find any of those. This district puts together a community advisory group and loads it with elitists and expects them to know what it is like to struggle to survive and buy medicine. Vote NO! again and again and again. I welcome any questions and comments from anyone.

Acorn in Ohio

Has any long time resident wondered what happened to the Columbus area. The influx of
"Illegal aliens" driving drunk killing our loved ones and damaging our property. Now the state is being investigated for selling license plates to illegals nationwide. http://www.dispatchpolitics.com/live/content/local_news/stories/2009/09/13/copy/plates.ART_ART_09-13-09_A1_45F1VJQ.html?adsec=politics&sid=101 Google and the SWCS supporters website is a wonderful thing. First lets check out the "community advisory board" put together by SWCS. Stephen Torsell Chairman of the advisory group. He is currently executive director of Homes on the Hill(Acorn). http://www.hoth-cdc.org/index.htm and this organization http://www.ohiocdc.org/mission.html. A little look at this organization. Funded by La Raza and set up to overwhelm the system. Give this site a good look over and it will explain the acorn connection. How deep does the Ohio corruption go.
http://www.hoth-cdc.org/2009%20Annual%20Meeting.htm What do these people do? They are set up at an address in Westland Mall. An address on the Hilltop on S. Terrace. They seem to line many pockets and have high powered connections in state government and the business Community. http://www.hoth-cdc.org/History.htm Does their history sound familiar? ACORN!
Look at who funds them. This explains so much about the loss of the state of Ohio. SWCS tied to this group! They want more tax money from residents? I say no more money for corrupt government!

"SWCS" places so much value on the college educated!

Is this the future or the present In "SWCS" Can you say "Educated Dumbass"

Pay for "Performance" not "Empty Promises"

Another state report card has came and went and the SWCS administration starts the excuse machine. Why they only received "continuous improvement" and met only 16 of 30 state requirements is never addressed. They cry "we have non-English speaking students" yet they never speak out against illegal aliens or ask the county Sheriffs or the state to enforce immigration laws. They promise that if you pass a levy we will try to do better. What this really means is give us the money so that we can "try" to do the job that you have already paid us to do! You have to watch these educated elite. They try to trick you with words. They want pay before performance with performance never getting better. I really was impressed how the board tried to pretend that they really cared about performance. They came out with their contract with the residents to promise to try and improve scores if the levy passed.(Check out their Elite Stacked Community adviser group)http://swcs.wordpress.com/category/community-advisory-group/ According to them, They need to educate us on their goals for the district. They must really think that the residents of this district are stupid. Some of us may not be college educated. Some of us may not be good spellers but common sense tells us you can spend only what you make. The levy supporters hate the fact that people in the district have had enough of the name calling and black mail. The levy supporters are the ones that wont come up with the solutions. The solution to them is more money. Accountability and higher expectations are what this district and its children need.

SWCS and Acorn?

Many argument's are being made about whether to fund the SWCS school levy. I think something is missing from this political war between residents and the school administration. Why would a community's businesses want to alienate its customers by supporting such a controversial administration? Is it part of a business plan that is so devious that most people wouldn't believe how far the corruption is spread (Can you say "Sweet tax abatements" from the district)? Do taxpayers realize that the taxes they pay trickles its way to Acorn(See NEA and Acorn below). Teachers unions have been contributing to this corrupt organization for years. How many schools are indoctrinating your children without the parents knowledge. The fraud waste and abuse of our education system is rampant nationwide. Not another dollar should be paid until the corruption is routed out from top to bottom. SWCS residents take a stand now! What are they teaching your children?

NEA Dues and ACORN

Sabrina Schaeffer (yes, related) over at IWF’s Inkwell wonders when the NEA is going to sever its ties to ACORN, given recent revelations that its employees are willing to help set up a brothel with child prostitutes. Good question. I’m sure a lot of union members would be none too pleased with where their dues money ends up.
From the Examiner:
Teachers unions have contributed over $1.3 million to ACORN and its affiliates, since 2005, according to U.S. Labor Department financial disclosure forms.
Many education reformers would call the NEA criminal in their resistance to effective policy change. But that’s a figure of speech. They do, however, need to be more careful with their money.
The NEA, really any activist group on the Left with a shred of dignity, should publicly end their relationship with this corrupt and criminal organization immediately.

Amnesty anyone?

A Mexican circus is smuggled across the border and sets up shop in an old shopping mall. They steal utilities and have lived on the lot for two weeks now. A Mexican restaurant in the same mall was shut down for trafficking large amounts of Heroin recently. They get nervous when they see a gringo driving around them taking video with a Blackberry. I do this at my own risk. I don't recommend this to anyone else. They move $500-$700,000 worth of Heroin through a month. (See story below) Rehabilitation centers in Columbus are full of suburban young people. Crime from theft and burglary has went through the roof. Local media rarely reports on it due to political correctness. They don't want to be accused of racism. Diversity is the new cool word.

I live in the sanctuary city of Columbus Ohio. The Mayor and City Council raise taxes and provide free health care and HUD provides free homes with property tax waivers. Many Ohioans have been killed and have had property damaged due to illegal unlicensed drivers. The corruption is really embedded in this state. Here a reporter at his own risk answers some of the questions as to how this happens. Is journalism alive again in Ohio? http://www.dispatchpolitics.com/live/content/local_news/stories/2009/09/13/copy/plates.ART_ART_09-13-09_A1_45F1VJQ.html?adsec=politics&sid=101
